Event Description:

Every Saturday night Galapagos Art Space proudly presents her flagship show Floating Kabarette!

Expect NYC regulars in the burlesque scene, including but not limited to Cassandra Rosebeetle, Marlo Marquise, Medianoche, Rosie 151, Madame Rosebud, Legs Malone, Calamity Chang, as well as boy-lesquers Mr. Gorgeous and Go-Go Harder. Gracing the sky are resident aerialists Lisa Natoli, Jason Mejias, Jen Kovacs, as well as double and triple threat talents Miss Ekaterina, Harvest Moon, Joshua Dean, and Benjamin Franklin. Regular juggling talents Michael Momentum, Sean Blue, Book Kennison, and Marcus Monroe liven up the stage with a fantastic blend of comedy and pure skill. This list of local talent is interspersed with traveling artists, musical guests, and the occasional surprise A-list comedian. All packed into a high energy 5 act evening at the illustrious Galapagos Art Space, where guests sip delicious cocktails in pods floating on a reflecting pool and surrounded by an operatic mezzanine.

Doors for Floating Kabarette open at 9:30pm, Showtime is 10:30 sharp, ending around 1am, with the DJ party continuing into the night. Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door and available online at www.galapagosartspace.com , reserved seating is available to parties of 2 or more once you’ve purchased your tickets, by emailing [email protected].  The box office is also open Monday thru Friday, 11am-6pm, 718-222-8500. Special parties of 6 or more, including bachelorette/bachelor and birthdays/other events should call or write the office to inquire about group rates and other offers. Galapagos Art Space is located at 16 Main Street at Water Street in scenic Dumbo, Brooklyn. It is a short walk from the York Street F and High Street A/C trains, as well as the East River Ferry.
