Brought to you from a Brooklynite’s perspective, we at Brooklyn Exposed love Brooklyn and the people who call this city their home. Brooklyn Exposed was created to break the misconception that Brooklyn lacks a vast array of events, restaurants and community by offering extensive business and event listings and entertaining articles about our community. People deserve to know that just over the bridge, the entire borough of Brooklyn has some of the most interesting and down-to-earth happenins' of all the boroughs.

Sharon has been doing business in Brooklyn 2006 with the successful launch of All About Brooklyn Concierge - she left the corporate world and her Senior Accounting position behind to live her own destiny. She loves everything Brooklyn stands for and claims if you draw blood from her you will see the letters B-R-O-O-K-L-Y-N spill out. Besides overseeing Brooklyn Exposed, she really enjoys fostering relations with the Brooklyn community, and in her spare time she enjoys traveling, the arts, meeting interesting people and living life to the fullest. Beason's been deemed "one of our favorite local entrepreneurs" by L Magazine.
Diana Bruk, Managing Editor
Diana Bruk was born in St. Petersburg, Russia, and raised in New York City. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Sarah Lawrence College, and her Masters in Comparative Literature (English and Russian) from the University of Oxford. Before becoming the managing editor of Brooklyn Exposed, she spent several years teaching English language and literature in the Czech Republic, Russia, the United Kingdom, and China. Diana Bruk is also a freelance writer whose work has been featured in Salon, VICE, Nerve, and many other magazines.
