Tastes of Brooklyn and non-profit Seeds in the Middle came together under the vibrant Saturday sun to bring Borough Hall an outdoor culinary festival. With the proceeds of purchased tickets going to the cause of social change through health, scrumptious fall food was served up by Brooklyn restaurants and food businesses. Participants included Saul, Abigail Cafe, iCi, The Meat Hook, Palo Santo, Shelsky’s Smoked Fish, Egg, Mastellone’s Deli, Teachers Cook, Eat and Compete, Fizzy Lizzy, Sal’s Pizzeria, and Grimaldi’s. A live musical band busted out drum beats as food samplers in the outdoor plaza picked at Brooklyn-born dishes, basking in the fall breeze. Let the pictures sweep you away.
