Josh Boissy, founding chef at hotspot Le Barricou, opens Maison Premiere this week, an oyster bar invoking the spirit of Old World New Orleans. Adorned with antique wooden floors, mirrored glass and copper accents at the bar, the restaurant’s decor takes cues from Moto and Five Leaves – unsurprising,  given all three spaces were designed by John and Kevin McCormick. Maison Premiere’s bar is equipped with an absinthe fountain and there will be cocktails aplenty to chase down the bivalves. As Valentine’s Day looms, we can’t think of a better place to take your fling, lover, ball and chain, etc., to gorge on the aphrodisiacs.
